Social consciousness and successful business: DexLeChem supports JSES 2014
DexLeChem’s philosophy is the basis of the German-American Junior Social Entrepreneurship Summit, co-directed by Sonja Jost. Hosts are the FU and TU Berlin and the University of Southern Califormia (USC).
13 year old Luca Pistor from California gave birth to the idea. He was semi-finalist of the peace first price in 2013.
During JSES the international students present products and services and develop their ideas up to a business plan. German and US students from the age of eleven to sixteen can participate in the summit. It is taking place in Berlin from July 28 to August 1 and in Los Angelos from August 18th to August 22nd at USC.
World famous professors and experts from different disciplines discuss with the students , report from their own experience with entrepreneurship and help to develop new ideas. In this context Sonja Jost will demonstrate the importance of “STEM” (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) and its key role in social entrepreneurship ventures.
