Tino, can you tell us why you have chosen to work with us in the first place?

I think there are different aspects that I considered. First of all, I applied at DexLeChem because I was quite curious to find out what it is like to work for a chemistry startup. Moreover, I believed in DexLeChem’s vision of building a green chemical industry and I wanted to be a part of making this vision happen. I had several other options but in the end I decided for DexLeChem because of the environment of freedom and trust I found that made me believe I had every opportunity to further develop on both: the professional as well as  personal level.

After two years, can you say that your expectations have been met?

They have not only been met, but also exceeded many times. I made experiences and got to know things I couldn’t even think of before.

What do you like most about your work?

Working together with my colleagues who have so different personalities and come from so many different backgrounds - which can be challenging at times but all of them became my friends over time.

What could we improve?

Sometimes, it is a bit chaotic and there is rarely time enough to focus on new strategies. This will be the next big thing for us: The implementation of structures for future growth.

Do you have any advice for people who think about applying for a job at DexLeChem?

Even if they are not sure yet what they want to do in their life, they should be intrinsically motivated to make the world a better place. On the other hand, I would recommend them to be honest with themselves if they can really cope with a high degree of freedom in their daily work life.
